We, [Emily, Michael, Laura, Aunts Lori and Amy, & Grandma] began the day with going to Kaldi's. We needed the caffeine...
After spending time relaxing, talking, and drinking our coffee (or cup of tea), we headed off to the Botanical Gardens. Now, anyone who knows my mother, knows she loves her garden.
To top it off, we had the wonderful company of my Uncle Joe [my mom's brother] and Aunt Melody.

After the Botanical Gardens, we went to a local favorite:
We took our Gus Pretzels and went down the street to a park to eat a little picnic. It was so nice.
Afterward, we walked nearby to yet another favorite place of ours, The Stable. My brother had his rehearsal dinner here. It is a brewery/restaurant in downtown St. Louis. We went for some beers and brought home some dinner. Yummy!
Today was a perfect day, spent with my amazing family. I wish mom would've been there, she would've really loved it.
